King of the authors

It was not a rock star offered shelter, Saturday, Nov. 16 evening, the Grand Rex in Paris. But the illusion was perfect: queue of fans spilling out onto the sidewalks, hostesses wore black T-shirts bearing the words "Stephen King Paris Tour 2013.". For the first time, the 66 year old American novelist, left her 23-room mansion in Bangor, Maine, for discovering the French soil to promote his latest book, Doctor Sleep, published on October 30 Albin Michel, the long awaited sequel to the Shining. For sale two months earlier, the 2000 seats for the conference fee (30 euros, including book) given by the master of horror had passed in a week.
